Shipping Information
Where We Ship
We ship worldwide from trusted partner studios in the United Kingdom, South Korea, and Romania, depending on your location. This allows us to reduce transit time, customs fees, and environmental impact, while still ensuring quality and care.
Estimated Dispatch Times
Each object is made to order. Please allow:
2–5 business days for preparation
7–10 business days for standard delivery
2–5 business days for express delivery (available in most regions)
You’ll receive a tracking number as soon as your parcel sets off. Please note that production time is the same for both standard and express shipping, express refers to the speed of delivery after dispatch.

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on:
Your destination
Size and weight
The shipping method you select (Standard or Express)
We use reliable postal and courier services, primarily Royal Mail and local equivalents, to keep costs fair and service consistent.
Customs & Import Duties
If you're ordering from outside the UK, your local customs office may apply small import duties or handling fees. These are not included in your order total and are the responsibility of the customer.
That said, our items typically fall under low or zero duty thresholds in most countries, and in many cases, your parcel may arrive without any additional charges.

Packaging
Prints are wrapped in protective sleeves and shipped flat or rolled, depending on their size, to ensure they arrive safely. We use eco-conscious materials wherever possible.
Returns & Exchanges
Change of Heart
Because each piece is made just for you, we cannot accept returns for change-of-mind purchases. Please choose carefully, and feel free to reach out if you need help deciding before you buy.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, we’re here to make it right.
Please email hello@thelakehouse.studio within 7 days of receiving your order and include:
A brief description of the issue
A clear photo showing the problem
Your order number
We’ll offer a replacement, refund, or store credit depending on the situation, always aiming for a resolution that feels fair and human.
Exchanges
We do not currently offer direct exchanges. If you need a different item, please place a new order once your return or refund is processed.
Lost Parcels
If your order seems delayed or lost in transit, please reach out. We’ll investigate with the carrier and do everything we can to locate it. In most cases, parcels do arrive, just a little later than expected.
